Seeking Relations for Stagpaw!

Did you have any kind of relationship in mind for him family wise? I'm trying to develop some family connections for Ryetail. One plot that might be interesting is them not knowing if they're related or not and trying to reason through it.

I would also love to see him try to flirt with Chervilstorm (assuming he's interested in she-cats) because I really think she won't know how to handle it. I think two of them could have an interesting relationship as frienemies, enemies or just as friends.

That sounds interesting. How would we go about it? On his profile, it says something about kittypet ancestry. Stagpaw is supposed to be purely Roseclan, but then again, it could be interesting to challenge him as a character with an unexpected lineage (of kittypet origins). He's certainly prideful enough to be upset about it, although ultimately it could lead to him being more open-minded.

I'm not sure what kind of family member in particular, but Ryetail is definitely too old to be a sibling. An uncle, perhaps? WHatever you think would suit him best. It would be interesting to see those two try to work through it. x3

Chervilstorm would be perfect (and yeah, he usually flirts with she-cats). I think it would be kind of hilarious, and that they would make great frenemies/friends, if you want. :D

I think Stagpaw and my character Briarheart would get along well; their personalities would mesh well and Briarheart is always glad to extend his social circle (and gain more cats who are loyal to him). Plus he's currently looking for an apprentice if you're open for that! Briarheart would train him hard but only to make sure he's the best he can be. 

They wouldn't actually have to be related for the plot to work. I don't know how common knowledge Ryetail's kittypet ancestry is, his mother is 3/4 kittypet (her father was a kittypet as was her mother's father). I feel it could go either way, no-one could really care or there could be a big stigma around his mother's bloodline making it more common knowledge.

The easiest way we could do this would be for Ryetail and Stagpaw's mother to be close a few moons before his birth and to have a falling out. They could think Stagpaw is Ryetail's son. Otherwise Ryetail being an uncle would work, although I feel the parent he's related to may have to be dead/absent for maximum impact of the plot. I think being related through Stagpaw's father would work best.

Let's definitely throw Chervilstorm and Stagpaw together some time then

Alright, your idea with Stagpaw's mother is fine. Stagpaw's parents aren't technically dead, but they don't have roleplayers (so NPCs, I guess). So I don't know how they would fit into the picture. Should they just be absent for some reason?

It's up to you what to do with his parents. If you wanted Ryetail to be his biological father that could also work.

I like the idea of Ryetail and Stagpaw's mother having been close, leading to some confusion. I don't think the kittypet ancestry would be that big of a deal within the clan, but Stagpaw would definitely be upset by it (and ardently try to deny it), so it would make for an interesting plot. How do you think we should start?

I have Quietpaw. I could see Stagpaw trying to flirt with her or impress her in some way and she just acts disinterested which could make him want her attention even more?
