Deputy application process:
Reply to this thread with your application. Notes: 1. Your cat must be at least 18 moons old to be deputy. Older than 30 is preferred. You may apply with younger cats but they will not be considered until they reach 18 moons. 2. You are accepting the position 3. The prompts are to see that you have put thought into having your character in the position and why they should have the position. Your cat is more likely to be chosen if the current leader has an IC reason for choosing them. 4. If you character is archived (you are inactive for two months) or chosen for this position their application will be deleted to keep the thread orderly. You may wish to save the application elsewhere. If your cat is over 30 moons old you can put 'yes'. If your cat is younger than this and currently has an apprentice you can put 'in progress'.

Cat Name: BriarheartAge: 32 moons If you are applying for multiple high ranks please order your preference: Just applying for this one! *Has your cat mentored their first apprentice? New character but older than 30 moons so yes. Why would your cat be a good deputy? Briarheart is incredibly loyal to Roseclan and would do anything to protect it; he respects Echostar and her ability to lead. Along with his loyalty comes his fighting prowess and his determination to keep the clan safe. The warrior is very hard-working and wishes to better the clan, and to perhaps make them more powerful so that their enemies will not dare to attack them; he will complete any task given to him, no matter how long it takes and how hard it is on him. Being charismatic, the tom has a somewhat easy time getting others to follow his lead, which is useful when in a leadership position. He would not take the responsibility of being deputy lightly and would pour his heart and energy into it, though his eye may be on being leader eventually. While, yes, he does respect Echostar, Briarheart will not hesitate to speak up if he doubts her decision or thinks there may be a better route to take, though he will grudgingly respect her decision if she does not end up agreeing with him. What will your cat bring to the position? The tabby will help oversee the training of apprentices and make sure they are able to be independent and are skilled warriors; he does not mind in investing a large amount of time with apprentices as they are the future providers and defenders of the clan. Briarheart would like to increase defenses around the camp and make sure that all who are able are helping to provide for the clan; he does not take kindly to slackers. Also, the tom would encourage intellectual talks ranging from more efficient ways to run things around camp to different ways to deal with something happening on a hunting patrol to what to do if a kit gets lost and how to efficiently look for it. His loyalty to the clan would make him be quite clear with clan members as to what's going on politics wise, unless discretion is needed. He intends to have regular border patrols and to keep an eye on Ivyclan. If your cat ever became leader what direction would they take the clan in? Once leader, Briarheart plans on making all warriors better fighters and that they aren't going easy on their apprentices; he will make sure that apprentices and warriors train once a day, even older warriors. The tom would like to make the clan camp as secure as possible and to make sure that there is always enough prey. He may gently press all she-cats in the clan to have kits in order to help the clan grow larger but he would respect those who do not wish to have kits. Though he does look down upon new comers joining the clan, if they effectively prove their loyalty to Roseclan, and to him, he will allow them to stay and join the clan, although he may make sure they go through grueling training to be good warriors. Once he deems Roseclan warriors to be strong enough, he would cautiously begin expanding Roseclan's territory, starting first with unclaimed territory and perhaps eventually into Ivyclan territory, but not until the clan is very big and very strong, although his ambitions may change over time. If your cat is young, inexperienced or has not completely mentored an apprentice what would make them a better candidate than cats who have? N/A
