Why does your cat want to be a medicine cat? She cares a great deal for her fellow cats and feels that she can help them by treating them for anything ailing them.
For cats older than 6 moons: Why are they choosing to become a medicine cat now? She has recently felt dissatisfied and almost bored with her role as a warrior, and wants to help other cats rather than hurting them. She wants to do something useful for her Clan during her life, and to learn to be close to Starclan

The new medicine cat for Roseclan will be chosen by December 5th.
Hazelfoot do you have a preference when it comes to medicine cat or medicine apprentice? Both positions are open.
Feel free to roleplay with her as a warrior in the meantime, we'd love to see some activity for applicants before filling the position.

Why does your cat want to be a medicine cat?
When she is of age to be a medicine cat apprentice she plans to learn as much as possible. Medicine cats and Starclan has captured her interest at a very young age and she is fascinated by the works of a medicine cat. Not only is she aspiring to be a Medicine Cat in the future, becoming a Warrior is nowhere near appealing to her, and she feels she is too incompetent and being a Warrior ill-suits her because of her size and strength. Mimickit believes that becoming a Warrior means that you protect and care for the clan(just like 'everyone else'), but that's nothing as special as being the Medicine Cat. Medicine cats are in close touch with Starclan--as Mimickit was told--and this excites her because she has an opportunity for heavenly, passed away Warriors and Ancestors to pass down knowledge. Mimickit wishes to ask the What and Why to Starclan and there is a slim chance she will see her parents with them. She wants to know if they are there, or went into darker territories––that is, if they're dead.
Being a medicine cat is a big responsibility. Why should such a large responsibility be placed on such a young, inexperienced cat?
For one thing, Mimickit is very smart, and has the capacity to learn easily due to how open-minded she is. Mimickit usually means serious business and can handle the responsibility of making sure cats are healthy. She is physically and mentally ready to gather and take care of herbs, along with working under pressure. Plus, with the help of Hazelfoot(whom would be her mentor), Mimickit is assured to become more competent over the moons. Not only is she prepared to learn, but she has the appropriate attitude to be in this position. She is extremely eager, as medicine cats have always fascinated her and it would be a dream coming alive if she became Hazelfoot's apprentice.

Why does your cat want to be a medicine cat? Birdpaw doesn't like fighting and doesn't like anything, whether a cat or some other animal, getting hurt. Birdpaw wants to do her best to help anyone in need. Others' needs always come before her own and she feels awful when she can't help anyone. Though she believes in Starclan, Birdpaw doesn't really pay attention to them much saying that they are dead and the dead can't cure the living. Though she respects them and their wisdom she knows that when it comes down to it, she will be on her own.

Birdpaw takes her duties very seriously and knows the importance of her position as medicine cat. Birdpaw is prepared to do her best and will never want to fail her clan. She also has a remarkable memory to memorize all the herbs and diseases. Birdpaw works tirelessly to benefit her clan in any way she can and she thinks that a life of healing is better for her than a life of hunting a fighting. Birdpaw doesn't like violence much and would much rather live a life of peace than anything else.
