Did Bearshadow think they could not handle it themselves, he was wrong. Even if Honeyleaf was young and inexperienced she and Ryetail could handle any trouble that came towards the the patrol. Honeyleaf waited for Bearshadow to signal them to leave. If IvyClan thinks they can cross over our borders they are wrong, because we are ready. The cinamon tabby thought.
Honeyleaf began to follow the patrol out of camp and into RoseClan's territory heading towards the IvyClan/RoseClan border.
(Sorry it's kinda short. I had no idea what to write)

Ryetail and Bearshadow's meeting didn't last too terribly long, and Rayetail turned to the three cats who were waiting, “We’re heading out. Unless our esteemed deputy has anymore words of wisdom before we depart?”
Kestrelpaw let out a small purr, happy that they would finally set out. He nudged Cherrypaw in the shoulder, "I bet you I'll be better than you on this patrol!" Anything could be made into a competition by young apprentices.
As the group headed out of the camp, Ryetail in the lead with the other's following, Bearshadow called after them, "Starclan light your path." A shiver ran up and down Kestrelpaw's tail, excitement also tinged with a bite of apprehension. There was no doubt that what Ryetail and Bearshadow had talked about had been important, even thought the conversation had been short. Kestrelpaw believed that it probably had something to do with the border skirmish that his sister, Chevrilpaw, had been involved in.
Tramping after the group, Kestrelpaw thought to himself, 'Roseclan better watch out, they mess with one of us, they mess with all of us.' He couldn't help but hope they might come across a Roseclan cat they could teach a lesson after the disappointment of the earlier fight.

(@asiandumbledore did you want to reply before I do?)
With a slight toss to his fur, the small tabby weaved his way up along the old quarry; a thin layer of grey had soon settled on his paws. He didn't bother to look over his shoulder, the sooner they could get this farce over and done with the sooner they could worry about more important things like making sure no cat went hungry tonight. The landscape changed; flattening out and growing greener and earthier as the they put more and more distance between themselves and the camp. The wind tossed and Ryetail flinched, hackles rising. It took a moment for him to calm himself; the dog-scent was stale and probably belonged to one of the twoleg dogs that sometimes made a break to yap after squirrels. He whirled around, back of his neck still tingling. “Kestrelpaw what do you smell?” ( Fallen , Umbra , this thread doesn't seem to be going anywhere... let me know if you'd like to leave it. I'm good either way)

(If you guys wanna wrap it up, I'm fine with that!)
Kestrelpaw scurried after Ryetail as they headed out of camp. The clouds of dust that trailed behind his mentor made Kestrelpaw sneeze, but he didn't care, they would soon be out of the dusty environment and into the cool clean air of the forest.
As he trotted after Ryetail, Kestrelpaw opened his mouth to catch the scents around them better. The musty taste of the dirt beneath their paws gave way to the sweet smell of fresh grass and leaves, and Kestrelpaw found himself admiring what a beautiful trip the patrol was turning out to be. He watched a bird flit from branch to branch in the trees over head, marveling at its agility.
Kestrelpaw was so caught up in the forest around him that he nearly ran into Ryetail when he turned on him with a question. Blinking nervously at Ryetails sharp tone, Kestrelpaw parted his lips. After a moment the odd scent of a dog came to him, thankfully it was stale. He couldn't help but shudder at the scent of it though, one of the elders had told a horrendous tale of an interaction with a dog gone wrong and Kestrelpaw would be very content if he never saw a dog his whole life.
"There's dog-scent coming from over there," he flicked his tail to the side, in answer to Ryetail's question, "but it's stale, I believe."
He looked to Ryetail expectantly, wondering if they might try and follow the dog-scent to find out if it would be a hazard to the clan. The scent would probably be too stale to follow for very long, if it was as stale as Kestrelpaw believed it to be. And Ivyclan territory was fairly close, they wouldn't want to have dog-scent masking the border so they accidentally crossed it.
