FIRECLOUD RoseClan Warrior || 20 Moons
Firecloud crouched beside the pond silently, his eyes narrowed and alert for any sign of movement. Simply waiting wasn't always the best way to hunt. But when your prey was fish, to Firecloud, waiting was the only sensible option.
Rabbits and mice were difficult for Firecloud. Even now, as a young warrior, he sometimes struggled to keep up with the former, and he often waited too long before pouncing when it came to the latter. But fish? They were perfect, and Firecloud happened to find them quite tasty too, even if they were on the small side.
A flicker of movement caught his eye. His body tensed, the action barely noticeable, and he watched as the fish lazily swam into view, steadily approaching the surface. Just a little more... perfect. His paw lashed out, scooping up the fish and flinging it onto dry land, where he pounced and finished it off with a quick bite. As soon as he was certain it was dead, he left it on a small rock beside the pond before returning to his post and staring back into the depths. With a bit of luck, and a lot of patience, more fish would emerge for him to catch. He just had to wait.

Honeyleaf was hiding. The cinamon tabby she-cat's gaze locked on the tom-cat who was looked like he was hunting fish. Honeyleaf wrinkled her nose. She hated the taste and fishy scent of fish. The cinamon tabby stepped out of her hiding place and padded towards the ginger tom. "Hello." Honeyleaf greeted.
"Mind if I join you?" The cinamon tabby asked. "My name is Honeyleaf, who are you, I have not seen you around before?"

FIRECLOUD RoseClan Warrior || 20 Moons
Firecloud was unsurprised that Honeyleaf hadn't seen him around before. He wasn't especially noticeable, after all- just another scrawny tom, with a habit of waiting rather than acting. Slowly, almost reluctantly, he turned away from the pond to look at her, though no other part of his body moved- just in case, he was staying still. After all, another fish could come out any moment and he wasn't going to be the one to frighten it off.
"I don't mind company," he replied after a few moments of thought. "There's plenty of fish in the pond. My name's Firecloud."
