End up dreaming instead of sleeping.

At last the sky was darkening as the softness of dusk overtook the stifling heat of the day. A large, silvery she-cat clung to the cool shadows gathering by the fence; eager to escape the still suffocating heat. A breeze tugged at Eira’s and she turned into it to drink in the lightness of it. It was a vast improvement but she and her long fur would be much happier when night had fallen for real. Effortlessly she coiled her muscles and leapt lightly onto a fence post and for the first time she hesitated; this was Myth’s domain or at least it had been. Had the old cat withered away to nothing yet? For a moment her eyes went unfocused. Was Cade still with her, trying to feed her back to health? Eira shook her head to clear it; leaving them had been the best decision she ever made.
The fur along the back of her neck prickled and her instincts kicked in before she was conscious of identifying the scent. She dropped down ears flattened back as she took to a defensive crouch. A soft half purr escaped her and her posture eased. While she wasn’t as big a lump of muscle as Cade she wasn’t exactly easy takings herself. Let them come.

It was a long day and every pasting hour was filled with emptiness and foolishness. He was ready for some excitement some adventure. As his mind become more focus on the task of purpose, a cool breeze came and flow over his body. His long fur rustled in the wind and he scars under layer of furs were soothed. He like this time, it was peaceful and it was the right time do anything you felt like. In the mist of his reflect this eyes locked on to a moving object. It appeared to be a tom. Ordinary, Kuganon prepare for an attack, but he was enjoying himself. But then something happened... he smelled a female.
He dropped everything, she didn't smell like she was heat but he was interested anyway. Judge on the scents strand and intensity he deduced that she was far away... probably near the male. "Well... I need a workout." He said to himself and began to battened down the hatches. He began the long walk.

(Not trying to be rude but you might want to try actually bringing him all the way to her or something, because there's wasn't really anything new for me to work with)
The scent drew nearer and Eira straightened up, impatience replacing her good mood. What was taking them so long? She opened her mouth and tasted the air more carefully, the wind was running across from the scent which made identifying the scent difficult. She leapt leapt back up onto the fence and up in the clearer air the scent clarified. It belonged to a tom but it wasn’t Cade. She let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding. Not wanting or caring to know why she was so caught up on her brother she leapt back down and headed off towards the scent, it was probably one of those toms who came running at the slightest scent of a female but at least he would serve for some entertainment.
In a short time the tom drew into view and Eira paused, looking him up and down. He was even larger than her brother with a flat dull grey coat compared to her silvery sheen and a similar facial structure to what Cade and Eira shared. He probably carried their father's bloodline. She hissed softly; he was too big for the sort of harmless scrap she craved. Unblinkingly she stared at him. “Haven’t seen you before. Who are you?”

Her approach was not expected, this meant she was adversarial. He moved out of mating phase into threat analysis. "The question is who are you, my dear?" He stood back as he sidestepped around her. He wasn't afraid of her. but he recognized as battle born when he saw it. She was remarkable blunt and uncaring of his ability which either made her a fool, or a powerhouse. He respected that, but he wasn't about to turned a blind eye turn her. Even her glares carried a lethalness to them. He glared at her questioningly, "Why was she not taking?" he thought. He disregard this thought, edged a little closer to her.
"You seem dangerous, I like that..." he chuckled

The question is who are you, my dear? She tilted her head onto the side and her lips twitched as she fought the urge to draw them back to bare her teeth. She’d never met him before. He refused to give her his name. “Your dear?” She repeated the words out loud, a hiss playing on the edge of her voice. "I asked first." While he was fully grown and larger than she was he had definitely seen fewer seasons which made the familiarity prickle uncomfortably along her spine.
Her amber eyes narrowed in answer to his glare and she continued to look him dead in the eye. He was probably wondering why she wasn’t revelling in his every word, if such looks from her brother were anything to go by. He was inching closer, as if oblivious to the hostility rolling off her, and after he next spoke disbelief was rolling off her in waves. She drew back her lips into a snarl and batted the air with an unsheathed paw in a warning strike. This was no laughing matter. In any case it seemed she owed her brother an apology; if this stranger was indeed a distant relation it appeared incurable indifference for hostility appeared to run in their father’s bloodline.

Kuganon inched back," Apologizes... I didn't want to appear to be hostile." Her reaction to his to him was pleasing. She revered him as a threat and that alone was good enough. Both saw each other as dangers, although he didn't know what he would do if she didn't move. "My name is Kuganon." He said smoothly trying to ease the tension that he created. He turned around slowly showing his back then turn again so that he was facing her. "Now what is yours?" he said as his blue peered as if he was looking into her soul. He knead the ground in in front of him patiently. She was as dangerous as she interesting. He prepared himself for an onslaught or for conversion... honestly both would make his night.

Hostility she could have handled but this… this was… too much like talking to her mother. The realization swept over Eira like claws across her face. No wonder she was so unsettled. To her relief he inched away and her ears perked up again, fur flattening along her neck as the tension fled her body. Kuganon She ran the name through her mind, and came up blank. She’d never heard so much as a whisper about this cat.
He turned showing his back to her, a clear sign that he didn’t intend hostility. She paused, not answering the question right away. She continued to stare straight at him even though something in the depths of his eyes made her uncomfortable she wouldn’t back down. She’d spent too long butting heads with her family to be scared of him. “Eira.” There was less outright hostility to her now but the hard edge remained. Out of some residual loyalty, or perhaps it was just habit, she needed to know what he was doing so close to Cade and their mother. “What are you doing here?”

"Eira... what a pretty name." He said as he ran her name through his head, but he came up with nothing. Her glare back was uncrippled by his glaze but he expect that. This woman was a veteran and for what he could tell she recognized h as one too. If she thought he was novice she would kill him by now or worse. A head on confrontation would be disastrous, the loses who be high on both sides. So talking would suffice. Kuganon was all alone and she would be great for conversation and getting to know the Hierarchy around here. So he answered her question respectful," Honestly, I because I thought I smelled a female, but it turned out to be a lioness." He smiled as he was referring to her, but her dirty looks amused him. He liked that didn't take crap him or anyone. "I doubt you are taking a scenic route, what are doing out here?" He left up his massive paw and start to like down his fur. As if to say I got time.

A lioness? She let out a soft rumbling sound half way between a purr and the beginnings of a growl. On the one paw he seemed to be under the delusion that such things would butter her up and she couldn’t help but be amused on the other this stranger had shifted again it was as if he was channelling Cade now which caused an uncomfortable mixture of anger and shame to mingle in her chest. The anger was winning out. She opened her mouth, ready to say something when the intricacies behind his words came crashing down. If a cat that large had the time to chase every she-cat he came across he had to have a steady supply of food.
For a few moments she stood silent, letting the tom’s unanswered question give way to the soft chirpings of crickets. Taking the scenic route was almost exactly what she was doing, not that she’d admit it, having skirted around her brother’s haunts out of habit. She didn’t particularly trust this tom and spending time with him was likely to be every bit as tedious as running back to her brother but she wasn’t one to turn down an easy meal. “You have food?” The edge to her voice was back in full force; making it as much a warning as a request.

Kuga searched his body as if he was magical going to find food on him. He was surprised that the cat asked such an "interesting" question. He look at her as if he was trying to grasp her integrity in one fell swoop. " I can't see I do, but I am game for a hunt." He said with a Wiley undertone. As if he was challenging to a game of sorts. He stood slowly and walked by her like she didnt faze him. In actuality she did... she was someone unidentifiable. He did not know her weaknesses but more importantly her strengths.
