Mossy Grove
A rather sizeable patch of the forest blanketed in soft, springy moss growing between tree trunks. It's usually rather dark, but the thick canopy above will occasionally give way, allowing dapples of sunlight to pool upon the greenery below. Landmarks
Here you will find a list of smaller landmarks in twolegplace. If you would like to have your cats 'discover' a landmark (have an idea you'd be willing to share) message Leopard with the details. If you wish to include an image with your description please double check the image is free to use. Try to keep landmarks in line with things you would find in the books, so something like a fallen tree rather than Atlantis or a glowing mountain. The Fallen Tree
In one of the deeper areas of the forest lies a broken tree, its massive trunk resting against those beside it. Branches and thick draping moss create a cave of sorts below its trunk, and the tree can be scaled to reach the upper canopy of the forest. Mice nests are common in this area. The Mossy Stream A small trickle of water runs from the Shaded Creek into the Mossy Forest. This small stream dries up in each green-leaf but the rest of the year it provides a source of cool, fresh water for those who don't want to walk all the way to the Shaded Creek. The stream is too shallow and narrow to catch fish but other prey will often visit to drink.
