Name: Santiago
Gender: Tom
Age: 49 Moons
Current allegiance: Loner
Personality: After moons of dealing with grief, Santiago is bitter and cynical. He's filled with jealousy whenever he sees cats happy together, so he goes out of his way to be alone. His lonesomeness then fuels his own jealousy. To fill the void, he pretends his dead lover Ignacio is still with him, and speaks to him on a regular basis. Santiago has a very strong sense of right and wrong, he'll stick up for any cat (even one he dislikes) if he feels they're being mistreated. He doesn't shy away from using violence as a means to an end, but would never maim or kill another cat. Being a creative problem solver, he can fight without causing damage very well. However, Santiago is very stubborn and intolerant of ways different than his own.
Appearance: Santiago's appearance is marred by several prominent scars. He has a crescent-shaped scar that comes over his left eye, partially obscuring his vision. There's another scar across his right shoulder, and still more knotted tissue on his chest. If not for these scars, Santiago would be considered a handsome (if imposing) tom. He is a grey Maine Coon, with the tufted ears and stately ruff typical of the breed. He is much larger than the average cat, as well. His size, with his piercing yellow eyes and long, fluffy tail would make him the picture of majesty and nobility if he didn't constantly look so sad.
Short description: Santiago is a large, grey, heavily scarred Maine Coon with yellow eyes.
History: Santiago spent his early life with an aging two-leg family and his partner, Ignacio. Santiago and Ignacio loved each other very dearly, and spent many happy moons together before Ignacio grew ill and one day died. Santiago's twolegs died shortly thereafter. Devastated, Santiago ran away, hoping to start life again on his own.
