Aging
Now the activity check has closed all cats have been aged. You may have noticed that kits and apprentices have only been aged by one moon. After much discussion we have decided to slow down the aging of young cats. The staff team feels there is so much potential for character development as young characters grow up and reach new milestones. With a 2 moons/month there just wasn't enough time to explore these milestones. Cats over the age of 12 moons will continue to be aged 2 moons per real life month.
We are also implementing a new feature which will allow you to instantly age a young character by one moon up to three times. You may wish to use these to skip over the first months of a kitten's life where they cannot physically do much or to make a lifestage move a little bit quicker.
Existing kits have been given 3 age skips, apprentices have been given 0-3 depending on how close they are to their ceremony.
High Ranks
After much consideration Bitter 's Mimickit has been selected as the new medicine cat apprentice of Roseclan. Once she comes of age she will begin her training.
Rank Requirements
We are also streamlining the rank requirements. Patrols and ceremonies are no longer compulsory. If a deputy wishes to post a patrol thread they are welcome to do so. If you would like to roleplay out your character's ceremony, just let us know.
Over the next few days a thread will be posted where you can instantly age young characters, change your ceremony preference and keep track of when ceremonies are due. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes please let us know.
