Medicine cat application process:
Reply to this thread with your application. 1. Cats of any age may apply* 2. The prompts are to see that you have put thought into having your character in the position and why they should have the position. 3. You will need to keep up with the requirements outlined in the rules. 4. If you character is archived (you are inactive for two months) or chosen for this position their application will be deleted to keep the thread orderly. You may wish to save the application elsewhere. *The current medicine cat, Laurelheart is a firm believer that a cat must grow into the responsibility of becoming medicine cat. Young cats (<12 moons) will still be considered but will have a harder time convincing him. Cat Name: Softpaw Age: 6 moons If you are applying for multiple high ranks please order your preference: RoseClan Deputy/Leader, IvyClan Medicine Cat Why does your cat want to be a medicine cat? She hates fighting and confrontation, but desires to help her Clan in any way she can. Currently she is training to become a warrior, but if this position opened up she would likely begin to wonder if this sort of role was more for her. She feels indebted to the clan for taking her in so readily when she and her brother were orphaned so she wants to help them in the best way she can. For young cats, 3-6 moons: Being a medicine cat is a big responsibility. The clan needs a mature, dependable cat in this role. Why should such a large responsibility be placed on such a young, inexperienced cat? Softpaw would do anything to help a cat in need, and desires to be the best she can be for her Clan. Although she is shy and quiet, she is determined and does not give up easily. She would have a good bedside manner and listen well to the plights of others. For cats older than 6 moons: Why are they choosing to become a medicine cat now? N/A

Cat Name: MistpawAge: 10 Moons If you are applying for multiple high ranks please order your preference: Medicine Cat Apprentice Why does your cat want to be a medicine cat? It is in Mistpaws nature to help cats. She is intelligent and desires to learn more, becoming a medicine cat would help her to learn more while giving her the chance to help others. It simply suits her better than anything else she could become. For cats older than 6 moons: Why are they choosing to become a medicine cat now? Mistpaw feels out of place training to be a warrior. She believes flopping around in the dirt, fighting other cats is a waste of her time. Time that could be better spent helping those who get a thorn in their paw, or searching for new uses with roots, berries and leafs. Being a Warrior or a Queen is not her cup of tea, and, to her thinking, she would be a wasted asset.

Cat Name: Moonpaw Age: 8 moons If you are applying for multiple high ranks please order your preference: Medicine Cat Apprentice Why does your cat want to be a medicine cat? Moonpaw wants to be medicine cat because she can't feel pain which would make it incredibly hard to be a warrior because of their dangerous life. She already has an interest in herbs to be able to treat any slight scratches or injures she get just by living her normal life and doing daily warrior duties For young cats, 3-6 moons: Being a medicine cat is a big responsibility. Why should such a large responsibility be placed on such a young, inexperienced cat? For cats older than 6 moons: Why are they choosing to become a medicine cat now? Moonpaw was a kit who grew up wanting to be a warrior but she is now starting to realize what a challenge it is. She also doesn't want to disappoint her best friend, Burnpaw, who wanted to have them to train side by side as warriors. Moonpaw though is starting to find an interest in herbs now, realizing how much she relies on them and thinks with her condition being a warrior isn't possible and too dangerous. She thinks she would be more helpful to her clan as a medicine cat than as a failed warrior.

Thornkit Age: 4 moons He wants to be a medicine cat because when he was young, he watched his sister Windkit die without being able to do anything about it , and now he is willing to spend his whole life learning so no other cat will have to suffer what he had to suffer. He has a good heart, and a sure mind and is good with patience
