(Private with Kuganon and Wolf)
Wolf burst from the door, excited to be out. He darted past his twoleg before she got a chance to catch him and then he was past the yard. Freedom! Though is was chilly outside it was better than the stuffy twoleg den. Wolf trotted past the fences of the other dens, the sun shining its bright light on the world. Wolf took in a deep breath, gathering his courage. He carefully watched which paths he was taking so as not to get lost. He did plan on going back to his twolegs eventually. Wolf stopped cautiously at the edge of twoleg place, staring in wonder at the forest. He slowly walked beneath the trees, feeling the soft leaves underpaw. He pricked his ears at the sound of birds tweeting. His fur was bushed out in the cold as the weather got even chillier the longer he was out.
He heard the yelping of a fox somewhere to his left and shivered in fear. He looked back, wondering if he could run back home in time before the fox came. Suddenly he heard the screech of a bird above him and bolted. He ran underneath the roots of a tree and curled up to hide their, fur fluffed out. He shivered violently in the cold, not liking the weather at all. He longed desperately to be back among his twolegs, safe and warm. He squeezed his eyes shut, hoping for someone to come by and help him. He was too cold and gripped with fear to move.

The gentle breeze caress the afternoon skies and a slight nip took hold the air. Kuganon sat in a tree waiting from something to happen... anything. He sighed in irritation, everyday was the same as a rogue, perhaps today would be the day he joined a clan. He laughed at this thought," When have become that needy?" After vocalize this he realized how lonely he was. He jumped down from the tree and down on some unsuspecting leaves and peered down both directions. None to be seen, but something could be heard.
His ears perked, did he just hear something... a whimper a cry for help. Kuganon could contain his excitement he ran to the general location of the cries. He found a kit freezing in the snow, which he thought was weird. Nonetheless he was happy to see someone. He looked at himself and realized he was bascally a heat generator at this point to this kit. So without warning he walk over the child. At closer look he realized how strange the kid looked but at this point he didn't care. "So..." he said looking into he kids eyes," What is kit like you doing sooo far from home?"

Wolf managed to look up at the strange cat, terribly frightened. A big tom like that could kill him in a heartbeat! Still he was too cold to care. His teetch chattered uncontrolably and another whimper escaped him. "I went for a..." his teeth chattered more. "-walk, but got lost." His teeth continued to chatter before he got his voice back. "I didn't realize it would be this cold."
Wolf squeaked a little before burying his face within his own shallow pelt. Still, it was better than nothing as his face had practically no fur to keep him warm. Plus it helped him to avoid looking at the large tom, quite intimidated by his size in comparison to his own. Wolf didn't think he had ever seen a cat so big! "Please go away!" Wolf mewled, face still buried in his side. "Don't hurt me!"

Kuganon realized that he might've made a mistake. He had forgotten how he looked especially to kit. So he stood in a nurturing manner, but he realized that the kids was freezing to death. He laughed heartily," If I left you die out her." Without warning the reached down and grabbed the kitten by the gruff and pulled him out of headway. He sat him down on a warm patch of grass, and then he wrapped himself around the little thing. He purposefully in closed him with his stomach, as if to say you safe now.
He made sure that the area was safe from kit killers. He then turned his attention to the kit,"I will take you home after the weather gives you up a little... Believe or not I use to be like you... albeit with a little more fur." He laughed thunderously again, he looked out to the distant and smiled a pitifully smile. "The freedom... the open range... it is somewhat enticing." He gazed back at the kit, "But some about it... it changes you." He glanced back into endless wood and then back at the wolf like kit covered in his fur. "By the way what is your name?"

Wolf squealed in protest as the large cat dragged him out of his hiding place. His fur bristled slightly in fear. When the bigger cat curled him around him, Wolf allowed himself to relax slightly. He began to purr contently, snuggling warmly into the larger cat's fur. He felt a lot warmer now. "Huh?" he asked, realizing the large cat was speaking. "Oh, Wolf," he answered. He appreciated the strange cat blocking the cold wind for that was the worse part of this horrid weather.
"Doesn't the wind bother you?" Wolf asked, craning his neck up to look up at the large cat's head. "The wind is always cold. I don't have much fur so the cold always gets to me. I don't want to be a burden on you. I really messed up. I shouldn't have left my twolegs. I only meant to be gone for a little, but the longer I was out the colder it got. My twolegs always kept me warm when it got cold. I don't know what I was thinking," Wolf scolded himself, squeezing his eyes shut in shame. "If you leave that's okay. I really don't want to be a burden on you," Wolf whimpered.

Kuganan pat him on the head with his heavy paw. "My name is Kuganon, but you can call me Kuga." He said suddenly feeling like kit's older brother or step dad. He almost didn't want to take the kit home. He thought rise himself, so wouldn't be so lonely. Kuganon sighed recenting his selfishness.
When he somber up, he looked down at the kitten after he realized he was asking questions,"My priority right now is that your mama isn't short one kit, besides the cold never bothered me anyway." He looked down at the little tom, and seriously couldnt understand what type of cat he was. He also didn't understand why the twolegs would bring this type to this climate, knowing of their short fur. He sighed he understood that cats were smarter than the Twolegs but he didn't expecct this.
He looked up again and he realized that the kit was rambling on about something."Don't be daffed, there is no way and going to let a defense less shivering kitten find his own way back to his abode." He said with nurturing security. "Do how to get back to where you live?"

Wolf poked his head up the from the tom's fur and looked around, a confused expression on his face. He then looked back up at the tom and shook his head. "No idea, I've never been in the forest before. I know I live somewhere in twoleg place but that place is really confusing! Its easy to get lost there."
Wolf hunched his shoulder, feeling miserable. He didn't like causing trouble and though he was relieve the large tom would him go back home, it was his own fault he was in this mess. He had never wandered this far from his twoleg's nest before and it was all so confusing. Confusing scents, confusing sounds, confusing sights. How did cats live through this!
"I wish I knew," Wolf muttered, sinking his claws into the ground with frustration. "All these tree look the same. How do cats survive in a place like this!" Wolf growled, his anger and frustration only rising. Wolf finally calmed down, relaxing against the tom. "Do you know how to get to twoleg place?" Wolf asked. "Maybe then I can find my way home."

Kuganon realized that his was an opportunity, but he looked back at the kit would survive a trip in the other direction. He looked at the kit with pure intentions," No. but I know the general way." He stood which made him look like one of the monsters from a twoleg film. He did his usually stretches and then he stop. He heard a rustling of bushes, and twigs snapping. He grimaced it was fox, and his target was Kuga, but the little kit in his position.
It was that moment where his paternal instinct kicked in. All he could see was red. "Listen, let me go... handle something you stay here and keep warm." His fur stood up a little and he head off into the bushes.

Wolf squeaked as the big tom stood up and the kit slid to the ground. "Where are you?" Wolf's question was lost to the wind as the tom quickly moved into the bushes. Wolf was confused. Why did he leave him there all alone? Wolf whimpered, curling into a ball and digging his face into his flank. The wind buffeted his side and made him cold once more. Wolf managed to crawl under a pile of leaves, cherishing the warmth they provided. He didn't understand why the Kuga had left him but all he focused on right now was keeping the wind from his fur. Beside maybe Kuga would come back. Wolf gulped. He hoped...

Kuganon's massive paws cut through the fell air. The Fox's pants were more and more apparent. The fox would not concede his meal,he planted his canines down in Kuganon's back. He muffled his help and then he bit the fox on the neck as well as scratching his sides. The fox retreated in the wood.
Kuganon slicked his wounds and then covered them with fur. He walked to the little hidey hole. "Boy, that was a doozy!" He laid on his back and pull the kit. "Let's take a short nap first. Ok"

"You're back!" Wolf cried, jumping up with glee. Suddenly Wolf paused and stretched out his neck to smell Kuga's pelt. There was an unfamiliar reek clinging to the tom's fur. "You smell funny. What is that?" he asked. He had never been in the forest before and knew none of the strange scents that surrounded him. Still he allowed the tom to pull him close and snuggled one again into the long fur of the great giant. Kuga was warm...
Wolf liked the idea of a rest. He liked snuggling up to the warm and falling asleep. It was the best thing in the world! He closed his eyes and let out a deep breath, his fur and muscles relaxing. This was even better than the twoleg's scratchy blanket. This was soft and soothing while also being warm and Kuga's pelt helped to protect him from the wind. Wolf fell asleep and Wolf dreamt.
He was bigger, older, and powerful. Sleek muscles rippled beneath his shallow pelt as he stood atop a large hill in the forest surrounded by trees. His nose twitched and caught on to the scent of prey. He followed it, trusting his primal instincts to get into a stalking position. Wolf crept forward through the trees, the leaves underneath soft on his pads. He could already see the squirrel perched at the trunk of a tree, inspecting all the nuts just lying there on the ground. Wolf licked his chops in anticipation and lunged forward. With outstretched paws, it looked like he was going to catch his prey. At the last minute, instead of paws touching forest floors and claws sinking into flesh, he landed with a hard thump on tiled floor. He was no longer sleek and muscular, but plump and fat. He waddled when he walked and he always walked in a slow, lazy fashion. Wolf stared with surprise and frustration at his paws. Where did the squirrel go? Why was he here? He looked up when he heard the loud noise of his twoleg and suddenly felt fear as the thing towered above him. In that moment, everything became clear to Wolf. He crouched back in fear as he realized the life he was in now, held no freedom...
Wolf jerked in his sleep, kicking out at Kuga. A whimper escaped his throat. He was having nightmare. His claws were unsheathed as he pounded uselessly in Kuga's pelt, crying out in his sleep.

He didn't answer the kit, he didn't want him to know what lurked in the wood... at least not just yet. He just pulled him close and smiled, he like having a reason to fight and kill again. He loved that feeling that thought that nothing else mattered except the survival of the kit. He pressed down on his wounds so the blood wouldn't seep through and laid in silence. He gently laughed went he saw a kit fast asleep.
He began to think about Wolf, Kuga's son. A grand warrior which everyone respected. He also inherit.... inherit what. Kuganon thought about establishing a territory. His heart laughed a little at new age, one in which his "son" could be proud of and inherit. He watched as the little kit nuzzled down in his fur and this was a he needed to be sure of his goals.
It was a few minutes later and he was the best dream on his life. It was interrupted by the squirming of the kit, at first it seem harmless until the claws came up. At first instinct he wanted to yelp, but instead licked the kit to sooth him mid dream. He figured that would the best thing to do. The sun rose beyond trees, so he woke up left from the hidey hole and caught a bird. When got back he woke up the kit. "Time to eat kid..." he said slightly sad," And then we will hit the road."

Wolf jolted awake at Kuga's interruption, panting. He shivered with fear but choked it down. He didn't want Kuga to worry. He could still see his fat, twoleg self and compared it to his sleek wildcat self. It was obvious which of the two was better. Still he didn't know what the dream meant. Instead he shook all the bad thoughts a way and leaped to his paws. "Yay food!" he yelped. He stopped abruptly when he saw what was on the menu.
"We're eating that?" Wolf asked disbelieving. He had never even thought about eating birds. It's just too strange. He had only ever thought about eating the food the twolegs poured out for him. Still he was willing to try even though it seemed pretty strange. But what else was there to eat in the forest? He settled himself by the bird and ripped himself off a piece of flesh. "Hmmm." he cried, pleasantly surprised. He never thought any animal could taste this good.

The morning brought new prospectives. He realized that he didn't know where The Twoleg's village was not even generally. Which he could figure out with that was a blessing or curse. That morning's hunt brought no comfort. He looked down at the kit with blood on his tiny face. He said," Pick a direction." What he said was the direction they start walking towards.
He let his adopted son continue to eat and he said with a kidding tone,"How did you sleep?"

Wolf cocked his head to the side. Kuga didn't know his dream but Wolf was feeling nervous about twoleg place. He felt guilty tricking his new friend, the friend who was helping him. But even so, Wolf turned toward a direction that he thought led away from twoleg place and nodded towards that path. "We should go that way." Wolf froze when Kuga asked how he slept. He felt afraid to tell him what was wrong, he just didn't want to open up like that. Wolf ducked his head, hiding his face. The wind still made him cold, but now Wolf was more cold in the inside. That coldness spread to hiss skin and all over. The inside cold was worse than anything the would could make him feel. Wolf then turned back to face Kuga and shook his head. "I had a bad dream," he admitted. "It was really weird. Before Kuga could say anything else, Wolf shook his head again. "I don't really want to talk about it. It just didn't feel right." Wolf shrugged. "I don't really know how it felt but it felt strange, like it was telling me something. Like telling me what to do." Wolf laughed. You probably think that's crazy."
